She termed out in 2021 but was recruited back to the Board in 2022.
Accomplishments on the HEDC/HMBC Board:
- Investing in parcels of property key to our city and park and trail amenities through a policy dedicating 25% of the annual sales tax remitted to the HEDC/HMBC for quality-of-life projects
- Securing assistance agreements to bring distinctive businesses to Heath including the beautiful special events venue Hidden Creek and wildly popular Standard Service entertainment and dining destination
- Launched and executed a Local Business Assistance program that quickly and efficiently delivered aid to help 31 service and sales tax generating businesses in the City of Heath survive the devastating impact of COVID-19. As a result, these businesses are thriving and our city continues to benefit from the sales tax dollars these businesses generate. An added benefit is that our residents are not driving by vacant buildings or abandoned office space leftover from businesses that didn’t survive as are residents in many other cities
- Investing in upgraded City of Heath branded street signage citywide
